On July 31, 2023, Alex Troy Knighton, a 43-year-old resident of Tifton, Georgia, was found dead at a location on 1709 Bellview Avenue in Tifton. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was requested by the Tifton Police Department to assist in the death investigation.
