In the early morning hours of December 4, 2017, the sound of multiple gunshots shattered the pre-dawn quiet in downtown Tifton, Georgia. When officers from the Tifton Police Department and the Tift County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene near 3rd Street and Commerce Way at approximately 2:36 a.m., they discovered the body of 21-year-old Cedric Brown. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The male victim's life had been cut short in an act of violence ...
