On the morning of Saturday, August 26, 2023, Columbus Police officers responded to a call regarding a person down in the 2900 block of Colorado Street. Upon arrival at 11:09 a.m., they discovered a 31-year-old Black male, later identified as Delarance Jones, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
