In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in September, a road rage incident on Browns Mill Road in southeast Atlanta escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 31-year-old Desiree George. A certified nursing assistant and a mother of two, George was visiting Atlanta for the Labor Day weekend when the fatal encounter occurred at approximately 2 a.m. She was driving with her 7-year-old son when the shooting broke out.
