In the early morning hours of October 4, 2023, David Lamar Morgan, a 58-year-old male from Cochran, was found with gunshot wounds at the Safe Haven Mobile Home Park on Glendale Avenue in south Macon. He was visiting someone at the mobile home park and did not reside there. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
