On October 14, 2023, Joshua Alan Swink, a 41-year-old resident of Hiram, Georgia, was fatally shot during an attempted purchase of a dirt bike that he had advertised online. The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. at 317 Shenandoah Drive in Hiram.
