On November 12, 2023, a tragic incident occurred at the Norris Place Apartments, also known as The Vista @1931, located at 1931 Murphy Road in Augusta, Georgia. Four-year-old Zykee Ryans accidentally shot himself in the head after finding an unsecured gun at the residence.
