Joe Reynolds, a 48-year-old white male, was a police officer with the Augusta Police Department in Georgia. On June 14, 1959, Officer Reynolds was tragically killed in the line of duty. The incident occurred when he and another officer responded to a domestic dispute at a home on Wrightsboro Road.
