Heavaugh Leigene Brooks, a 24-year-old male from Augusta, Georgia, was shot late on the night of Friday, November 21, 2025, while he was on the front porch of a home in the 1300 block of 10th Street. Multiple reports state that several people were gathered on the porch when an unknown assailant opened fire toward the group, striking Brooks at least once.
