Deandre Howell, 14, a Black/African American male, was shot and killed on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia. According to officials, gunfire erupted around 5:15 p.m. and Deandre Howell was found with at least one gunshot wound; despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at 6:05 p.m. His death and date of birth were later confirmed in funeral notices.
