On February 10, 2024, 19-year-old J'Quan Darius "Wink" Reed of Savannah, Georgia, passed away. The Savannah Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the corner of Barnard Street and Bay Lane, where they found Reed suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries.
