Nathaniel James Pease, a 44-year-old resident of Trion, Georgia, lost his life to gun violence on February 13, 2024. The incident occurred at his residence located at 1802 Old Highway 27 in Trion.

The shooter has been identified as 36-year-old Dakota Dodd, also from Trion. Dodd surrendered to investigators after leaving the scene of the shooting. According to the investigation, the fatal incident appears to have resulted from an argument that took place earlier in the day.
