On March 17, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 800 block of Maynard Street in Macon, Georgia, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Shantoria Hines. The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 12:11 a.m., with deputies responding to a call about two females being shot following an argument.
