On April 14, 2024, a death investigation was initiated by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office following an incident in the 1900 block of Cedar Avenue in Macon, Georgia. Deputies responded to a duplex on Cedar Avenue in reference to a person shot, where they found 36-year-old Gregory William Thomas suffering from gunshot wounds.
