In the spring of 2024, a gathering on Cedar Avenue in Macon, Georgia, turned into a scene of violence that claimed the life of 36-year-old Gregory William Thomas. On the evening of Sunday, April 14th, Thomas was attending a get-together at a duplex. He was seated on the front porch when the sound of gunshots suddenly rang out.
