In the summer of 2019, the life of 20-year-old Antwan D. 'PeeWee' Fuller was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. On the night of June 26th, Fuller was at the Green Meadows Townhouses on Log Cabin Drive in Macon, Georgia, when violence erupted. He was pronounced dead at the scene, becoming a victim of a shooting that would ultimately claim two lives.
The incident, which occurred just before midnight, also left two other individuals wounded. Twenty-seven-year-old Matthew Adarius Davis was critically injured in the shooting and was rushed to a nearby medical center. He succumbed to his injuries two days later. A third victim, 34-year-old Mia Sanders, was also shot but was listed in stable condition.
In the immediate aftermath, investigators worked to piece together the events that led to the deadly shooting. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office urged the public to come forward with any information that might shed light on the motive and help identify those responsible for the deaths of Antwan Fuller and Matthew Davis.
Despite the initial investigation and public appeals for information, there have been no subsequent news reports indicating that any arrests have been made or that any suspects have been publicly identified in connection with the double homicide.
