On April 30, 2024, Johan Romero, a 27-year-old resident of Pearson, Georgia, was found dead in a car on Wright Road in Axson, Atkinson County, Georgia. The discovery was made after the Atkinson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting an unresponsive man in a vehicle. Upon responding to the scene, deputies found Romero deceased with gunshot wounds.
