On a summer evening in Columbus, Georgia, the life of 41-year-old Tekellaya Jackson Stewart came to a tragic and violent end. On July 12, 2024, law enforcement responded to a distressing 911 call from a residence in the 1100 block of Richland Drive, initially reporting that a woman had been shot. A subsequent call from a child within the home reported that a man had also been shot, adding to the horror of the unfolding events.
