Murdered

On July 20, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Macon, Georgia, resulting in the death of 23-year-old RaQuavian Smith. The shooting took place just after 11:30 p.m. at the Marathon Gas Station located at 3102 Napier Avenue.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, Smith was exiting the store when he was shot. After the incident, he was driven to Navicent Hospital's Emergency Room. Despite efforts by medical staff to save his life, Smith was pronounced dead at the hospital.
