Death by Force

On October 12, 2024, in the early morning hours, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to an automated iPhone Crash Detection alert that led them to the 3200 block of West Stewart Mill Road in Douglasville, Georgia. Upon arrival, deputies found a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road with no evidence of a collision, but they discovered 19-year-old Roberto Deleon and 17-year-old Beatriz Vega critically injured from apparent gunshot wounds in the front seats of the car.
