Marquisha Phillips, aged 40, was killed on May 31, 2015, in a shooting on the Northside of Jacksonville, Florida. The incident also claimed the life of another woman, 23-year-old Sharnice Wilson, while a 2-year-old child was grazed by a bullet but survived. The shooting took place at their residence on Chestnut Drive, and police believe the perpetrators approached on foot from nearby railroad tracks before fleeing the scene.
