On a warm Father's Day evening in Washington, D.C., what should have been a time of family celebration turned into a scene of tragedy. Kevin Mason, a 17-year-old male, was shot and killed on Sunday, June 18, 2023, in the 2700 block of Langston Place, SE. The incident, which occurred at approximately 8:43 p.m., also claimed the life of his 15-year-old cousin, Demarcos Pinckney.
