On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at approximately 10:00 PM, a homicide occurred in the 1900 block of 16th Street, Southeast in Washington, D.C. The victim, identified as 19-year-old Nijae Boddie, was shot and subsequently transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
