Nadeja Jermainequa Pressley, a 23-year-old woman from Greenville, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on May 19, 2019. The incident occurred when her father, Jermaine Pressley, mistook her for an intruder and fatally shot her as she was attempting to enter their home on Young Street around 1:15 a.m. According to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, Jermaine Pressley initially claimed that he believed someone was breaking into the house and fired his weapon in self-defense.
