On January 25, 2024, a homicide occurred in the 3500 block of 6th Street, SE, in Washington, D.C., resulting in the death of 31-year-old Malik Gliss.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), officers responded to the location after receiving a report of an unconscious person. Upon arrival, they found a man with gunshot wound injuries inside an apartment. Malik Gliss was pronounced dead at the scene.
