On a Thursday afternoon in the Congress Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C., a call about an unconscious man led police to a grim discovery. Inside an apartment in the 3500 block of 6th Street, Southeast, on January 25, 2024, officers found 31-year-old Malik Gliss, a male resident of the area, suffering from gunshot wounds.
