On a Tuesday afternoon, March 19, 2024, the life of 25-year-old Rasheem Bankins, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a shooting that unfolded in the 5000 block of C Street, Southeast, in Washington, D.C. The incident, which occurred at approximately 4:22 p.m., also left another man injured.
