In the early hours of a Monday morning in Washington, D.C., the sound of gunshots shattered the predawn quiet of a Southeast neighborhood. On May 6, 2024, at approximately 1:07 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Buena Vista Terrace, Southeast, following reports of gunfire.
