Erick Ferrer, a 67-year-old Army veteran, was fatally shot outside his home in North Miami Beach on January 8, 2023. Ferrer was sitting in his Toyota Camry in the driveway of his residence in the 18000 block of Northeast 21st Court when he was shot in the head. Witnesses reported hearing two or three gunshots, and a white pickup truck was seen reversing out of the driveway after the incident.
