On July 1, 2024, Treyshawn Wright, a 20-year-old resident of Miami, Florida, was fatally shot while driving a black SUV in the area of Northwest 7th Avenue and 58th Street in Liberty City, also known as Model City. City of Miami Fire Rescue paramedics declared him dead at the scene, where he was found lying next to his vehicle with a gun by his side.
