Death by Force

On May 17, 2023, 16-year-old Adrian Lee McKinzie was fatally shot in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. in the 3600 block of Effee Street in the Moncrief Park area. Two other individuals—a juvenile and an adult male—sustained life-threatening injuries during the shooting. All three victims were transported to a local hospital, where McKinzie was pronounced dead.
