On July 27, 2023, David Jackson, a 41-year-old man, was shot and killed at the Goldelm at Regency Oaks Apartments in Casselberry, Florida. The incident occurred during a heated argument between Jackson and his girlfriend's nephew, 22-year-old Joel Thomas Ferrer.
