On January 28, 2023, 31-year-old African American male Dereck Lavon Cummings II was fatally shot near the Carrington Park Condominiums in Casselberry, Florida. Known professionally as 'Antwaun Miles,' Cummings was a prominent figure in Orlando's nightlife scene, working as a club promoter.
