On July 31, 2023, a shooting incident occurred near Kissimmee, Florida, resulting in the death of 18-year-old Asad Brinson. The incident happened around 8:20 p.m. in the area of Tampa Avenue, between Michigan Avenue and Orange Blossom Trail, just south of Osceola Parkway.
