In what has been described as a random and cold-blooded attack, Robert Louis Kraft, a 70-year-old man from Holland, Michigan, was shot and killed on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Kissimmee, Florida. The incident occurred in the middle of the day in the Indian Point subdivision, a neighborhood situated just a few miles from Disney World. Kraft was with his brother, 68-year-old Douglas Joseph Kraft of Columbus, Ohio, and a friend, 69-year-old James John Puchan, also of Columbus, Ohio, when all
three men were gunned down outside their rental home.
The group of men were in town to attend the Mecum Car Show and were experiencing car trouble, which had caused them to extend their stay. They were reportedly waiting for assistance with their vehicle when the fatal shooting took place. Authorities who responded to the scene around 12:14 p.m. found the three tourists deceased from gunshot wounds. The Osceola County Sheriff described the killings as a senseless act of violence, stating that there was no apparent conflict between the victims and the assailant.
Within hours of the shooting, investigators arrested a suspect, 29-year-old Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, who lived next door to the rental property where the victims were staying. Two firearms were recovered from Bojeh's home. He was subsequently charged with three counts of first-degree murder and is being held at the Osceola County Jail without bond.
Authorities revealed that Bojeh was known to law enforcement and considered a threat to his neighborhood, with numerous calls for service to his residence. Court records indicated a prior arrest in 2021 for an incident involving a shooting at a gas station, for which he was later acquitted by reason of insanity. The investigation into the triple homicide is ongoing, but officials have emphasized that a suspect is in custody and there is no further threat to the community.
