On March 30, 2023, an 18-year-old named Dheilier Cabrera was fatally shot on a bike path in Kissimmee, Florida. The incident occurred near the Vineyards Apartments, located at 2101 Vineyard Blvd., and the Cascades Apartments, located at 2100 Cascades Blvd. The shooting took place around 11 a.m., resulting in the death of Cabrera. Additionally, a 17-year-old was also shot in the foot during the incident but is expected to survive.
