On January 5, 2024, in Morriston, Florida, 52-year-old Jeanette Lisa Pfleger was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident. Authorities reported that Jeanette was found with a gunshot wound inside a car alongside Daniel Drake, her boyfriend, who also suffered a gunshot wound. Investigations revealed that their long-term relationship was ending, and Drake persuaded Jeanette to enter the car, where he fatally shot her before attempting to take his own life.
