On August 22, 2021, four-year-old Suni Michelle Bell, an African American girl, tragically lost her life in Tampa, Florida. Suni was riding in the backseat of a car when shots were fired into the vehicle. Her last words were "mommy" before she succumbed to her injuries. The incident left the community in shock and mourning, as they grappled with the senseless loss of such a young life.
