Death by Force

On March 22, 2024, Major Melvin, 89, and his wife Claudette Melvin, 87, were found shot and killed in their home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The couple, who had lived in their Melrose Park home for over 50 years, were discovered by family members. Claudette was found in the dining room, and Major was found in the living room, both with gunshot wounds. No guns were found at the scene.
