Vincent Holloman, a 40-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on October 22, 2016, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The incident occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. at an apartment building located at 720 Harris Terrace, just west of Fort Lauderdale. Holloman was pronounced dead at the scene, while two other individuals, Darryl Williams, 44, and Danielle Demps, 28, both from Fort Lauderdale, were injured and transported to Broward Health Medical Center.
Williams was later discharged, but Demps remained hospitalized for some time.
The Broward Sheriff's Office released surveillance footage showing four men believed to be involved in the shooting. The video depicted the suspects walking calmly to the apartment complex before the shooting and then fleeing the scene in a dark sedan. The suspects were described as follows: one heavy-set man with short-cropped hair, another wearing a bright sweater with styled twists in his hair, and two others of medium stature. The precise time of the video recording was not disclosed.
Despite the release of the surveillance footage and the descriptions of the suspects, no arrests have been made in connection with Vincent Holloman's murder. The Broward Sheriff's Office continues to seek information from the public to help solve the case.
