On April 9, 2024, 17-year-old Sadarion Cosby was shot and killed in Sanford, Florida, during a drug deal that turned into a robbery. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Ellen Place and Scott Drive in the Washington Oaks neighborhood. Cosby and three associates approached a parked black Kia K5 sedan, intending to conduct a drug exchange.
