Jeremy Darnell Peterson was one of the homicide victims identified by Crime Stoppers in Miami-Dade County in the first week of June 2024. On the night of June 5, 2024, Peterson and another individual, Kenneth Eugene Riley, were found dead in a silver Mercedes-Benz that had crashed into a utility pole. The incident occurred in southwestern Miami-Dade, specifically at the intersection of Quail Roost Drive and Southwest 113 Avenue in the area of South Miami Heights.
