On June 19, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Coconut Grove, Miami, resulting in the death of 57-year-old Christopher Jones. The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. at 3320 Southwest 37th Avenue, where police responded to a call of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Jones, who had been shot, and he was subsequently taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he died.
