Darius Coon, 31, a Black male, was found shot to death inside a parked SUV on the 10th floor of a downtown Miami parking garage at 230 NE 4th Street on the morning of July 19, 2025. Police were alerted after a foul odor was reported from the upper levels of the mixed-use garage that serves both condominium residents and hotel guests. Inside the vehicle were two victims—Coon and a woman identified as Charlotte Rodriguez, 35—both with multiple gunshot wounds.
