On June 7, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at a drive-thru ATM of a Chase Bank branch in Southwest Miami-Dade, Florida. The victims were identified as 43-year-old Odalys Maria Bancroft and her 3-year-old son, Theodore Couto. The shooting happened in the morning, just before 7:40 a.m., at the Meadows shopping plaza located at the corner of Southwest 152nd Avenue and Bird Road.
