Murdered

On April 26, 2023, Aaron Hunt, a 25-year-old resident of Bridgeport's West Side, was fatally shot in the 100 block of Denver Avenue. The incident occurred as Hunt was watching a gunfight, which he was not directly involved in.

The investigation into Hunt's death led to the identification of two suspects. The first suspect, Andre Johnson, a 27-year-old convicted felon, was arraigned in Bridgeport on charges related to Hunt's murder. Johnson's arraignment took place on June 13, 2023.
