In the quiet neighborhood of Security-Widefield, just south of Colorado Springs, a tragedy unfolded on the last day of March in 2023, forever altering the lives of one family. Brandon Bunyard, a 29-year-old male, was found shot in a vehicle in the early morning hours. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a shooting and discovered Bunyard, who had succumbed to his injuries.
