Sancho Xavier Sierra, a 17-year-old male, passed away on April 3, 2023, in Pueblo, Colorado. His death was the result of apparent gunshot wounds sustained in an overnight shooting on the city's east side. The Pueblo Police Department responded to the incident in the 1000 block of E. 11th Street just before midnight. Upon arrival, they discovered that Sierra had died at the scene.
The shooting also resulted in injuries to three other individuals.
One woman sustained life-threatening injuries, and two other females were also wounded. At the time of the initial reports, the police had not released any information regarding potential suspects or a motive for the shooting, stating that the investigation was ongoing.
Known to be a young man who enjoyed football, basketball, and boxing, Sancho was remembered for his love of being around his family, especially his nieces. He was survived by his parents, siblings, and his girlfriend, who was expecting their child. His family requested a private service to honor his memory.
