In the early evening of Saturday, April 29, 2023, tragedy struck in Colorado Springs when 21-year-old Jesse Schiele III, a male resident of the city, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 7:13 PM in the 1100 block of South Nevada Avenue, where officers were dispatched following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Schiele on the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite immediate attention, he succumbed to his injur ...
