In the closing days of 2023, a violent encounter in Pueblo, Colorado, set in motion a chain of events that would ultimately end in tragedy. On December 30th, 27-year-old Devin Nichols was shot, suffering injuries that would prove to be fatal. For more than a week, he fought for his life, but succumbed to his wounds on January 9, 2024, marking a somber start to the new year for his loved ones.
