Milon L. Carvis, a 42-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on April 4, 2015, in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Carvis was standing on the sidewalk with several other adults in the 7800 block of South Seeley Avenue when a male suspect approached and fired shots. The shooter then fled eastbound.
