Gary Stokes, a 29-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on January 15, 2021, in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. According to reports, Gary was in his vehicle around 4:50 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Morgan Street when he suddenly heard gunshots and felt pain. He had been shot in the back.
